Moving...

All,

It's Saturday Night and I just got back from dinner with Jesse and Dana and Eric V... It was alot of fun and then Jen and I watched some grey's Anatomy! Anyway give to the topic! Jen and I will be moving out of Colombus Station Tuesday the latest because that's when our lease ends. We still don't know if we are getting the house yet, so it's very frusterating! This has been a process that because of some ghosts in the closet do to the economy has been very stressful! I believe God is actually trying to teach me something thru all of this though! The first being that I need to trust him. I believe my faith has been tested and stressed in this process and it's very difficult. Jen and me are stressed at each other and it's been def. a journey to walk thru to see that this is going to bring us closer together. Life is not easy but Jesus is amazing and I know that everything will work out... So please be praying for Jen and me as we continue to stand in faith about where we are going to move. Thanks

Luke

All,

I just recently was in small group and came across the verse in Luke when Jesus is being crucified. I can't get a certain passage out of my head, the one where Jesus says to God "Father Forgive them, for they know not what they are doing". I think about in my life how often has this been true of me first. Dealing with people all the time and sometimes the dirt that comes up, is never easy but as a pastor hearing Jesus say that reminds me of the Grace and Love that we are all called to have towards people because He had grace and love for us. I pray that we will KNOW what we are doing and want to have a desire to make our Father in heaven pleased....

Twilight The Movie

All,

First Blog! Just thinking about the movie twilight. I watched it last night and to be completely honest, I think I loved it! I know alot of people have been upset because some of the youth taking the movie and the books too far. It reminds me of when Harry Potter came out and the same frenzy happened. I think anything we fall in love with more than God or put first can be unhealthy. I'm not sure i'm on board to boycott Twilight. I find vampire movies very interesting. I guess If you have a young person who is following in love with Twilight or HP or anything else that can be allittle creepy or unhealthy I would just talk to them about it about how it's just fiction, for fun.

P.S - If your kid starts thinking he is a vampire then you should probably call it quites. ...
